Practical advice for users (protects them and lowers your liability).
Stay Safe While Exploring Meeting new people is exciting, but safety comes first. Please follow these guidelines:1. Keep it PublicAlways meet in busy, public places like cafes, coworking spaces, or restaurants.Avoid meeting in private hotel rooms or apartments for the first time.2. Stay on the AppKeep conversations inside NomadHub as long as possible. Scammers often try to move you immediately to WhatsApp or Telegram to avoid our safety filters.3. Trust Your InstinctsIf something feels "off," it probably is. You are never obligated to stay at an event or continue a conversation. You can block or report any user anonymously.4. Tell a FriendLet a friend or family member know where you are going and who you are meeting. Consider using the "Share Location" feature with a trusted contact outside the app.5. Protect Your ValuablesDigital Nomads often carry expensive gear (laptops, cameras). Keep your bag within sight at all times, even at "friendly" meetups.6. Alcohol & TransportationKnow your limits with alcohol.Arrange your own transportation to and from the event so you are never dependent on someone you just met.
